[THC] Stouts

Thank you Lloyd!  Suddenly I have a feeling I'll be making a stout after 
work this Friday.  Anybody who wishes to stop by should please also 
bring something to snack or sip.  I will be in brewing mode, not hostess 
mode.

MEETING IN SEPTEMBER?  At this time we are leaning toward a "Friday 
after work"  September 22 meeting at Rick's and Linda's, and if current 
negotiations prove effective, there will be at least two separate 
batches (different brewers) of Witbier in the works on that day.  
Providing I can take the half day vacation day then brewing can start a 
bit earlier than after work.  Does anyone have or know of a good Upland 
Wheat clone recipe?

BTW at this time we do not have a venue for the November "Teach a Friend 
To Homebrew" day.  It's "officially" Nov 4 but we can have it whenever 
we want.  I've heard that Lloyd was thinking of having the October 
meeting, and we are all waiting breathlessly for JOHN BLICHMANN to host 
a meting in that new place of his...  Hey John!  How about a TAFTHB 
meeting?  I vote for Nov 4th.  It is not a home football day but I 
didn't check out any other schedules.

Anyway, join me at my brew day the day after tomorrow (8/25/06, 5-ish to 
10-ish) if you wish.
