[THC] December meeting

Brewers and friends of brewers --

December meeting at LBC, on Friday night Dec 29 is shaping up nicely. 

Please send word before Dec 15 if you plan to attend.  No need to send 
any reply if you cannot make it.  It'll be a buffet or pizza-buffet 
dinner type party.  Time 6 - 9 pm -- whenever you can make it within 
that range.  We'll have some door prizes, a "beverage lottery," and much 
pleasant company.  No cost.

Bring homebrew!  Glass and/or plastic bottles are best, a small keg or 
two would probably not be too much, but this is not a drinking bash, 
just a little Holiday party!  And they have good beer on sale at this venue!

FOR THE Beverage lottery -- bring as much as you want -if you bring one 
bottle to the lottery you can take home one bottle of somebody else's!  
Bring two bottles, take home two.  Bring more than one of same beverage 
or bring a variety!  No need to pre-register them but if you want to 
fill out the tags ahead of time, they are here:

Homemade wines, ciders, beers, meads are all welcome -- no commercial 
beverages please -- this one's all about homemade.

NOTICE -- No commercial beers may be brought into the LBC anyway-- 
that's a state law, not just a point of courtesy.  And the event is in 
the upstairs bar, which is a 21-and-over venue, also based on the state 
law that rules Greg's upstairs license I believe.  However, the 
downstairs is all ages and a wonderful full service dining room with 
quite a bit of charm, and if you have kids in your group and are going 
out, you could set up the bulk of your group down on the main floor and 
then pop up to join us in the upstairs for a bit....
