Sorry for the misread, I should have guessed that one.

You said you are from around Kokomo, man I am
surprised you can get away with soft water.  If you
like it, brew on.

er, wait......

I just did some calculations with my water profile,
and at the level I have my softener set at I could
probably get away with brewing with what comes out of
my kitchen tap instead of the outside line.  So
depending on what you have your setting at, and your
local profile, Im betting you are in the acceptable
range.  If you did try using your water un-softened,
Id bet your efficiency would go up 10 points.
