Hey brewers and beer lovers!

Champaign-Urbana is the next closest beer competition mecca after Indy 
for most of us on this list. 

Rick and I have gone in 2004 and 2005, to judge and steward.  Lloyd went 
last year and stewarded.  I've entered some beers and meads both times 
I've attended.  It's WAY WAY fun, and so is the town.

It's June 3.  It's their 12th annual and they've got this thing working 
well.  There's a night before "social" and an after-comp cook-out.  
These people are really fun to be with.  And they will help people with 
accommodations if you're too cheap or too poor to get a hotel, or of 
course you just want to move in with the local homebrewers for a night 
or two.  They understand this.

For those of you who'd love to meet Jeff Sparrow or Joe Formanek, well, 
hey I feel a little silly dropping their names as if they're 
celebrities, but in a way they are, in the homebrew world anyway, and 
they're usually at this thing to help judge.  Not sure who all will be 
there but the organizer this year is Joshi Fullop and the judge 
organizer is Linda Owens, and I see no reason that it won't be as much 
fun or more than it's been the past two years.

NOTE -- stewards need have NO experience of an kind in anything.  And a 
person or two or three who is/are willing to be a novice judge is often 
a welcome addition to the judging tables.

If anybody wants to enter, we could take your beers there and save the 
shipping costs.  But anyone entering (I am, I forget, I think four 
beers) has to enter ahead of time, online of paper mail.  See that link
