Cool. Great Fermentations seems awesome. I hadn't heard of it before. I
almost never spend time in Indy, though. I just happened upon Kennywood
because I used to live down the road from the guy. He actually has a
little shop in his house, but he doesn't keep regular hours or anything.
It's probably more likely that people in Lafayette would be headed towards
Indy anyway. I noticed that GF carries Rahr malt and not Briess. I'm not
familiar with Rahr, but both companies have websites.
I won't be at the meeting on Saturday. I'll be in Michigan teaching a
friend to brew instead. We will be making Gruit Ale with sweet gale and
spruce. I also hope to make a wild rice ale while I'm there. I've got a
bunch of unprocessed wild rice that my friend up there promised he'd help
me parch and winnow.
