[THC] Fall meetings

Club Members:

        Just a reminder about the September meeting coming up this Friday, September  22, at Linda's house, 325 West Oak St., West Lafayette.  The time is from 2 p.m. on, with a end time of no later than 10 p.m.  The hot tub will be on, so bring your suits if you are interested, but bring yourselves, beer and food.

        The October meeting will be at Lloyd's house the weekend of Oct 14-15.  Date and time will be forthcoming.  

        The November meeting will be at Rebecca Davis's house on November 4, from noon to 6 p.m.  This is also the date of the AHA's " Teach a Friend to Homebrew  Day "  .  The club will no doubt do a promotion where it pays for at least part of the first batch cost for one to three new brewers.  So find those people you know who are thinking about possibly brewing, as this is a great opportunity for them to try it in a no fail, minimal cost setting.  

        Finally, I am thinking of taking a trip to Sam's wines in Chicago in November.  For those of you who have not had the opportunity to go, think of a Sam's Club devoted to all forms of alcohol.  Truly one stop shopping!  Of course, Goose Island is right across the street, and an obvious place for lunch.  On the way home, a stop at Three Floyd's new brewpub in Munster seems unavoidable.  So if anyone is interested, let me know.  I can take two or three people, but if there is enough interest, we could arrange more transportation.  See you at Linda's
