Truly one stop shopping! Of course, Goose Island is right across the street, and an obvious place for lunch. On the way home, a stop at Three Floyd's new brewpub in Munster seems unavoidable. So if anyone is interested, let me know. I can take two or three people, but if there is enough interest, we could arrange more transportation. See you at Linda's

And if you haven't been to the Trader Joe's on Clyburn, it's worth the
trip. (This is also single digit blocks from Sam's and Goose Island
Clyburn pub). If you walk up Clyburn the several short blocks from
Goose Island, you will eventually see the Trader Joe's sign on the left,
same side of the street as GI, but their name shares space on the sign
with some other business name, and you start wondering what the heck is
this really a Trader Joe's or what.....? You go in and the stairs look
like concrete stairs in a parking garage, and about a flight up you open
the door, and damned if it isn't a parking parking garage.... and then
you see.... there's a Trader Joe's, in the freaking parking garage.
It's absolutely hysterical. Their air handling system is great, because
the air in the store is perfectly good, no clue that they are *in* a
totally enclosed parking garage with lots of running automobiles right
outside those sliding doors where the cart racks are..

Hope to see you Friday 9/22, at 2 pm or after. And the swimwear
reminder is for real. The hot tub is inviting and ready for 5 - 11
people depending on it they're all really skinny or not, (it's a "spa"
for the people who wish to be technically correct), and apparel is
required, not optional. If you forget we can give you some kind of
shorts and/or t-shirt. (We have lots of towels.) But apparel of some
sort is required; we don't drink enough to want to see you naked (and
vice versa, I hope.)
:-) Linda
PS -- Do be reminded that this is about enjoying beer, and the company
of others, responsibly. Walk, bicycle, take a taxi, have a designated
driver or someone to pick you up.... And we have not failed to notice
that there are those amazing few of you who can actually QUIT DRINKING
for 90 - 120 minutes before leaving, and often after drinking rather
modestly in the first place. Maybe some day I'll learn how to do that.
Maybe when my liver starts to fail. (I know, I know, that's *NOT* funny.)
