Absolutely it would be a good gathering to attend. There are almost
always people in attendance who don't have homebrew to bring at the
moment. It's never a problem. If there is a particularly interesting
craft brew in your refrigerator that you are willing to share, that's an
appropriate thing to bring, and it is also completely fine to come
empty-handed once in a while. Kevin is telling the truth when he says
that *you* are the important to bring. (Once in a while if I have time
or have beer in the fridge, I'll have a some mixed of "regular"
craftbrews -- i.e. nice but easily-available-at-stores beer -- in my
cooler, just in case the very rare beer shortage occurs.) And you can
bring any food you like, e.g. if you have a specialty you like to share,
or you can stick to the instructions ("something for the grill") or if
it doesn't work out to bring food, there will be plenty.
It will be great to meet you and Julie. (Remember, she wrote me back in
April. I thought I remembered that, had to go look at the old emails to
get her name though!)
