I'm not sure that I'll have any of my own brew to share,
but we plan to be there anyway. I do have a wonderful honey ginger ale that I'll bring,

courtesy of one our fine Hopjockey brethren from
...Upland. We had occasion to take in the AHA rally last Saturday, and a fantastic
time of a tour by the chief Upland
brewer, Caleb Staton. Their Saison is so quite nice. It seems to just vanish fro
the palate in a mysterious soft pepperiness, leaving you in sort of a confused,
but most comforting, Upland fog. Someone should bottle the stuff .....

I invited the Hopjockeys. And the FBI. To the Aug 25 meeting and
camp-out. Sent them a copy of Kevin's message. (Hope that's OK Kevin
and Monica!) I keep meaning to find an email for the St. Gambrinius
club (the 'old' Bloomington club, as contrasted with the Hopjockeys
which is the new Bloomington club) but I'm not sure I have one.

That is so cool that you got to go to the Upland AHA membership rally.
I have been corresponding with Ryan Clarke, one of the Hopjockey
ringleaders (to get him to send our invitation to their club email list)
and he mentioned that it went well and their was a THC person there. I
wanted to go but I was haring a hash at Warren Piece. (It went well.)

I am sitting at the Bloomington Scotty's at this moment, about to head
back to Tippecanoe Co with my daughter as soon as some of hottest part
of the day passes. Or as soon as I cool off a little. Wish that Miata
had AC. I'm bringing the van next time, mileage be damned, this is insane.

Do they sell growlers at Upland? Maybe we'll go see.

L.

PS always use plain text to send messages to the THC list. Or the
program will eat your message.
