[THC] club only competition

Members:

        Yesterday we shipped our entry in this month's AHA club only competition.  Victor's mild will be judged on the 11th in the session beer competition.  The club could get 12, 8, or 4 points toward the Homebrew Club of the Year award for a first, second, or third place finish.  Good luck Victor and THC!
        For March-April the club only competition features Scottish Ales, so if you have one on tap or would like to brew one, think about having it ready to judge sometime in mid March. 
        Speaking of competition, the AHA National Homebrew Competition receives entries in early April.  Plenty of time to fire up those pots and reach for homebrew glory. 
        The Winter Warmer is coming up quickly this next Saturday.  The club is poised to pour our best strong homebrew, educate the public, and hopefully interest some people in the hobby.  We are having some  T-shirts made, using our original logo in the XL size.  We had very few XL shirts.  If you would like to get a new shirt and support the club let us know.
        Finally, we are still in need of hosts for future meetings.  At present, none are scheduled.  If you would like to volunteer to host sometime this spring, please reply to this notice and we will put you on the calendar.  Thanks,
