I can't find email from Lloyd in the Jan Mailman list archive..
OK. There it is. In the December archive. It sounds like they were
supposed to have it settled on Jan 20 if anyone was interested.

Lloyd's message is here (there is info about the next two COCs after this one also).

"There are three remaining competitions for this current
cycle of the AHA club only competitions. Coming up by February 8
is the competition for so called "session beers". One tends to
think of milds, bitters, etc., but the requirement is that the
original gravity be at or under 1.045, so quite a few categories
qualify. You can go to

to see qualifying styles.

In any event, during our meeting on January 20,
we will hold a judging session to determine which THC session beer is
our best to send in for this club competition. So take advantage of the
warm weather, fire up your brew pots, and produce your finest session
offering to be judged, and possibly represent THC at this competition.

For future reference, the March-April club competition is Scottish Ales,
and the May event is for extract brews, so keep these dates in mind as you plan
your 2007 brew calendar."
