[THC] Scottish Ale Club Only Competition

        Since Greg has given us permission to bring in  beers to judge, next Thursday, March 15 we will judge any Scottish Ales which club members might wish to submit to represent THC at the AHA club only competition.  The board will meet at 6 p.m. and judge sometime after that.  If you have a Scottish ale you would like to submit, you may bring a bottle to LBC, or contact one of the board and arrange to drop off a bottle with one of us. 
         This will be the second competition in a row for our club to submit an entry, and hopefully this will become a regular event, and we will be able to get some recognition for our club and its members.  The next club only competition is extract beers for May.  The deadline for entries is April 28.  At least 50% of fermentables must come from extract, but all BJCP styles are covered.  Hopefully we can have several club members submit beers to consider for this competition.
