[THC] Fruit&Hops?

We're planning to brew an IPA or Pale Ale in the next week or so.    
Has anyone had sucess adding fruit to hoppy beers.
Usually we see raspberry and blueberry in a lighter wheat beer....  
and did a little searching on the ole www for hops and fruit without  
much success.  Is it really so taboo?
Anyone have a recipe they'd be willing to share?

I'm thinking crisp and hoppy with some fruit adding a nice background  
element.... (or something)
