You're welcome, and a reminder to everyone who is just getting started
that there is club-owned equipment that may be borrowed by members.
What I can recall this minute is:
1 ten-gal stainless pot with valve
1 5-gal round orange drink cooler turned into a mash tun
1 burner
1 propane tank
Siphon-starter and vinyl tubing for transferring (the hook is broken but
it still works fine.)
People who would be brewers should get their own fermenter bucket/lid
and sanitizer. Spoon. And ingredients! I almost always have extra
carboys and can usually lend a carboy for some body who wants to
secondary but doesn't want to buy one just yet. I would lend my
"lighter" torch if I weren't needing it the same day; it makes lighting
burners so much easier! The 10 gal pot and the burner set-up is what
can make it possible (the big pot) and fast (the burner) to boil a whole
five gallon batch.
And speaking of brewing, all of John Palmer's "How To Brew" first
edition is available online at <http://www.howtobrew.com/>, and it's a
fantastic resource.
My Sunday batch (American brown) spewed. Just a little it, enough to
get the bubbler and bucket top all beery and cruddy, but not the floor.
