Nancy (or Mike) would one or both of you send an email to the list about
the Sept date?

I think it was going to be the 20th, hope I'm remembering right. (Y'all
do know that having a meeting on a day that ISN'T SATURDAY is allowed,
right? Saturdays are fun, but there are some people who can never come
if we never have them any other day.)

Mike do you have a map you can send me? Or send me your address and
I'll make one. I'll show it to you before any posting or distribution
to make sure it's OK/accurate.

We had a lovely day up on the Tippecanoe River last Saturday, and
heavenly food for dinner. Thanks Carl and Nancy for the hospitality and
excellent pork loin and sweet corn. Other people brought food and I
failed to memorize any except the lupini beans Kurt brought, and the
yummy berry crumble from Lloyd (sorry Lloyd I forget what you called it;
it was very nice). We had .... BEER (sorry didn't take enough notes to
write a review of that either, although I recall Mike Booth's poor
Richard was very nice (see <> for info about this recipe and

What about October? Did I hear Lori and Phil say something about wanting
to host it?

What about November? Lloyd has had the TAFTHB day the last couple of
years. Maybe we could have that one at my house this year? Official
TAF day is NOV 1. See http://www.beertown.org/events/teach/index.html

Also, Black Sparrow said in June that they'd be happy to have us back.
We should do that soon. That would be a week-night ed/biz (educational
and business) meeting. They liked Wed night last time.

Any particular topics that are of interest to members? (BTW membership
is $5 for the remainder of 2008. Get a little membership card and
everything!)

Linda
