[THC] Brew -B-Q

    Just wanted to send a note regarding the outstanding Brew-B-Q event held in Indianapolis this last Saturday.  At least 10 of the state's homebrew clubs had members attend, despite the southern Indiana flooding.  A great deal of good beer was on tap, and the food provided by the FBI, including the Bar-B-Q and smoked wings was delicious.  The hit of the party was the IBADs club, the Indiana Brewers and Drinkers Society.  They brought a car which had the spare tire well cut out to fit a trash can with corny kegs and ice, with the taps in the hood!  Also, they brewed a 10 gallon batch of continuously hopped IPA using Cascade and Glacier.  They split it into two carboys, and put one of them in the raffle.  As it happens, I won it, and have it fermenting in my basement.  I should be able to bring some of it to the meeting on the 26th.  Keep this event in mind for next year.  Should be around the first week of June.  The Ultimate Indiana homebrew meeting ( and I plan to brew there next year also- that is really a THC sort of thing! ).  Thanks,
