Hey Club -- this came just a little while ago from a J&C photographer,
and so I phoned him. It sounds like a great way to get some nice
coverage for the club. The Exponent did a photo spread and article
about us, about five years ago, and it's probably time to get in the
news again don't ya think?.
The Rewind feature is an every-Tuesday thing, and John wants to have it
in the paper on Tuesday Sep 23, that's a week and a half away about, and
he says it would be better if he could get the photos by early this
week. (As you can see above he didn't even know about us in spite of
the fact that we've been right here for almost 30 years, but we keep a
low profile. He has very fond memories of doing some photo shoots of a
Colorado club in the 90s, and wayyyyyy back in the mid-eighties in
Bloomington he apparently photographed the -- much younger -- St.
Gambrinus Benevolence Society and hung out a little at their meeting,
and was happily impressed by the camaraderie and friendliness he met
with there.)
I was thinking of brewing some weeknight coming up next week since my
weekends are fairly shot. Anybody brewing this coming weekend? I will
be away but this doesn't need me to be there; it just needs John and
somebody brewing! If nobody else is brewing soon I'll set something up,
and it would be best if other people would come over to be on camera and
do the little sound bite interviews that they add to the "slide"
presentation they put on the website. It won't work at all if I'm the
only person at the brew day.
Brewers -- let me know your availability and interest. This is too good
a chance for a little tasteful publicity to not jump on. I haven't seen
every "Rewind" (the paper J&C) or "Sound slides" (J&C website) they've
done, but the ones I have seen have been remarkably charming.

PS Lloyd it would be cool to use the Blichmann tower set up but of
course you'd have to be setting it up since I don't know how, and John
it would be cool to have the real Blichmann actually be here. You are
one of our pride and joy boast-about-able local yokels!
