[THC] Upcoming Club-Only Competitions

For those who weren't in on Linda's Winter Warmer email, I'm the (mostly
self-appointed) guy in charge of the AHA Club-Only Competitions. There's

There are six per year, so assuming the styles interest you, even people who
don't brew very often can enter all of them. The next two in particular will
probably have a lot of interest; the categories and due dates for entries
are:

OG > 1.080      March 28
50+% extract    May 2

So there's still plenty of time to brew for both. I thought it would be good
for us to have tastings at regular club meetings, so that as many people as
possible can give feedback. I don't think there's a date set for a March
meeting yet, but it would probably have to be the weekend of the 14th or
21st in order for there to be time to ship the entries. Otherwise we'll just
try to organize a tasting event one of those weekends.

If you're interested in entering the March competition, please send me an
email between now and mid-March with your beer name, style, and OG.
